As the eldest son, Farhan Sarwar joined his father’s small import/export business, and facilitated the expansion of H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons as the CEO. Mr. Sarwar is committed to giving back and has held to this ambition by employing more than 7,400 staff in Pakistan and creating a female empowerment unit, to employ Pakistani women.
In 2005, Mr. Sarwar inaugurated the Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) together with his family to cater to the needs of his community. He has leveraged his expertise from business development, supply chains, and manufacturing towards BSF, and more specifically meeting public health demands. To this end, BSF has procured and donated large scale medical devices and equipment to health care facilities throughout Lahore. His attention to detail is carried forward from his factories to the foundation, and this enables BSF to increase its overall impact to families and communities in Pakistan.
